BUT.... I would really really really really really love RON AND CHRISTINA to win it!! I totally love them to bits! especially dear dear christina..... plus, they're our fellow asians.... fellow chinese (i think)....
Although Ron was a little annoying toowards the middle of the race, he changed for the better. Glad that he said on National TV that he learnt a lot and has changed for the better, and that he didn't blame Chris when she fumbled a little the the road block. Chris is such a patient person. And she has such a big heart. You constantly hear her praising her Dad and she did not even scream back at her daddy when her father scolded and nagged at her. If i were her, I would have screamed back at whoever keeps nagging at me....
Awwwwww, the sweetness at the end of the race. I REALLY LOVE THIS TEAM! =)
"Who's your Daddy" didn't get angry even though Chris fumbled at the last roadblock. An attitude a Father should possess. Chris praised her dad throughout the race. An attitude we as sons and daughters should learn to possess.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HILDA!! =)
Wow, i've known this crazy klutz for 8 years now! really amazing.... all the ups and downs we went thru.... haha hilda, i've said my deepest feelings in the sms alr, so shan't elaborate....
still in school now. waiting for business law tutorial. i'm freezing to death in the library. Brrrrrrrr.... All i can say ever school started: busy, busy and more busy. haha
But, despite the busy schedule i have, and the frustrations i fall into once in a while, i do believe that i'm happy. i don't want my youth to go to waste, rotting away half my time at home, and just 'indulge' in a pile of books and lecture notes studying my brains away. If i really do, i would have dieded.... coz i'm such an active person.
I know that when i grow old, i will look back at my life and youthful days, knowing that i accomplished much more than i would ever have. So what if exam grades turn out bad? so what if i ever get a good job that pay loads, but i DON'T enjoy it? life is not about exam grades. it's not about earning truckloads of money. of course, who doesn't want a never-ending flow of cash? i know i do.... but if that flow of cash only comes with short-term material happiness, i rather not have it. life is really about living it to the fullest.... knowing that you have wonderful friends (like hilda and the sec sch clique, like the jie-meis!!, like my JC friends), knowing that God is always with you, knowing that u enjoy doing the things you do, knowing that you are contented with what you have.
Modernisation and globalisation has caused all these small little contentments to disappear. it has caused people to be materialistic and unhappy at the same time. such a pity. but i shall continue to live in this little unpolluted world.... at least for now.... =)

I've been thinking about it and God is really a God of surprises! He never fails to amaze me in different ways. During the youth council retreat that happened last week, we were talking about how God can surprise us in ways that we could never think of. He doesn't just go 'BOO' in your face, but he can still surprise us. Sherman was talking about how he saw God and God was making a funny face at him! So funnily cute! He really has his plans.
And i love this phrase that i read from or heard somewhere: "God always answers your prayers, but he doesn't always say yes."
This is so true! =)

then it was Honarary Officers nite at changi cottage. i really enjoyed time spent with NPCC people. so many scandals and joking around and playing cards and all.... fun-ness!
On the 3rd, Julia, Kahyee, Sam and I celebrated birthday for Ying Rui-ness coz i couldn't make it on her birthday itself. but it was fun too. we just ate and ate and ate and ate some more!! hmmmm i dun have photos of that day though.... for more info, go to ying rui's blog! =) ah rui 20 alr.... waiting for all of us to grow old tgt with her.... haha =p
on the 4th, i went out with Hilda, Weiqi, Petrina and Adeline! woots.... long time no see these gals, other than Hils. had a great time catching up with them too.... although we met up for a short while only!

and after this, it was off to retreat! at first, i was really reluctant.... but it turned out pretty much good. i did a video montage for the first time man! =) u can take a look! oh no... it takes super long to upload.... i just have to post another video of a friend, sherman who was pretending to be a terrorist.
school started today. first lecture wasn't that bad. hope i can stay ready and prepared for my entire semester!
