OH MY GOODNESS! GUESS WHO I SAW IN ST. IGNATIUS CHURCH YESTERDAY??

You wouldn't have guessed!

But it is ex-prime minister of the United Kingdom, TONY BLAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes yes yes, no jokes, no lies. Look at this photo!

A complete miracle and shock for us all. I wasn't even intending to go down to that church (I have already gone for mass on Saturday) if not for the meeting! My church friends and I seriously went crazy.

Tony Blair is actually on a two day private visit. And just 2 days ago, I was talking to my dad about him. It's a total WOW! =)

Wow, can't believe how fast time passes by! Already one year older. But heart will always stay at 18 years old. =) Had lots of fun over the past two days. First two celebrations were on Saturday 14th June.

Thanks CSA people for the cake. Was totally surprised. =)

At night, went to Sharon's house for BBQ. Thanks to T18 people for the Pandan Cake and Shirt. Refreshing cake experience. and I really really love the shirt! Thanks! =)

One day after my bday, went to Hilda's house with the clique. =) Watched Princess Diaries, ate Pizza De France, ate lots of Yupi Burgers (oh gosh, the sugar), had this special cups =) Played xbox and twister and bridge! Yippee, also had fun reminiscing the old days by looking at photos and Hilda's box of pri, sec and JC treasures. oh well, those were the days! =) Thanks Hilda, Van, Ade and Weiqi, oh and also the non-existent Petrina! haha

Just spent an entire week with CJC juniors. It never fails to make me a happy person to be able to share my past experiences with them and to watch them grow within the short few days.

This year, I took a Council group and I managed to influence them in a positive way. Reminding them, teaching them, mentoring them, learning with them. It's also during this time that I get to learn many new things, see many new things and reminisce about the 2 years i spent in CJC.

The programme has been improving over the past few years since I was a student. This year, it was also the first time LTC (Leadership Training Camp) was brought out of CJC. It was held at Dairy Farm Adventure Centre. The games and things they did were also much more fun. There was a 'laser quest' game called war games, where the team brought infrared guns and played against other teams at Bukit Timah hill. There was also high rope challenges, a real mental test for many. Not forgetting team games, problem solving and low elements. There was also the Bukit Timah hill challenge, somewhat a definite component in every LTC. Below, is a picture of one of my group (Fortius) members, Sharidan holding the infrared gun.

Thus far, I have facilitated 3 LTCs and took part in one. Each LTC adds on to my knowledge and wisdom that will last forever. These are the memories that I never want to forget! =)

Today, the council also elected their exco. I counted the votes with the teachers and were quite surprised at some of their votes. Hmmmmmm, but I do hope that the new exco can bring CJC to greater heights! ROCK ON!! =)
