I had a great breakfast this morning. 1 toast, one sunny-side up egg and a sausage. Yummy! What could have been a better breakfast? I had time to cook this morning because there's no lab!! Yeah! =)
On Saturday, I had a great day! Firstly, we celebrated Kahyee's birthday! Woohoo! Ky, 20 years old already. Don't be as retarded as me already ok?! Kbox was woohoo!After that, I rushed down to Marine Parade Roland Restaurant for Toastmasters International Night. The theme was back to school. Wah, super fun wearing school uniform again. But I did feel a little weird in my secondary school uniform. Too old to be in it already. But many said I can pull it off as a secondary school student easily. Many of the older people dressed in school uniform too. Super funny but super cool. Lots of games and my table was the highest. I was one of the least high people at my table. The older ones were pushing us on! haha
Here's a photo with me and my Toastmasters 'Godma'. She was in the crescent uniform. And the first time in my entire life, I won a proper lucky draw. 7th prize. A $100 voucher from the restaurant. =p
How now? I miss secondary school and JC.... =)

It's supposed to be a simple issue of saying yes or no, but they had to think so far.
I don't know what to say. But we can't over-generalise. My dad, on the other hand, is straightforward and cool. He just said, "Good, why not?"

This morning, I was eating breakfast when my mum asked me whether she should withdraw money from a certain investment that she and my brother made with the bank at the start of the year.
I kept assuring her that Singapore is relatively safe and not to worry. She took out the investment pamphlets and 'contract' and I took a look at it. It was some triple yield fund thing and the money put in was not little. 100% principal protection at maturity. I kind of feared a little. I do believe that the investment that she had made was the kind where you put the money in there and what the bank does is take others who put their money in the same fund and invest in shares.
So how? Should she take out the money? I really don't know. Anything could happen. Banks may collapse anytime. Especially is rumours continue to spread that the banks may collapse, and everyone starts to withdraw their money, then the bank will.... I really don't know what's gonna happen this financial crisis.

GARLIC CHILLI!
Omg, where did my garlic chilli go?
Many things don't taste as nice without this heavenly seasoning anymore!
I miss fries with garlic chiili, nuggets with garlic chilli, sausage egg mcmuffins with garlic chilli, grilled chicken foldover with garlic chilli, mcchicken with garlic chilli...... and the list just goes on!
I used to only eat fries because of garlic chilli. Goodbye fries. No more eating you from now onwards until i find back my garlic chilli. I've gone to three outlets, and none of them has any left.
Garlic chilli, why did you leave without letting me know and why did you go so quietly and suddenly????

Feeling really happy right now!
Oh and I made some friends at the humorous speech contest just now. Had lots of fun talking to them. Oh well, I didn't win once again. But I'm not sad. Youngest contestant there again. =p Out of 7 contestants, 5 spoke about marriage, boyfriend or girlfriends, wifes, which to choose, caucasian men or asian men..... The top 3 are from these 5!
Hmmmmm I'm not really of the age to talk about all these right? But these are the topics that are able to capture the audience's hearts! Hmmmmmm, looks like I need to be in my 30s, or have gotten married before I can win a division humorous speech contest?! But I'm already glad to be there as a contestant! As the division governor said, the division contest is the semi-finals. The finals is the district contest, which actually includes people from Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand and Singapore, 9 divisions. One day, one day, I will be able to get onto the district stage! =p
I learnt a lot today and through the 5 contests that I took part in! Saw many different styles of humour and evluations. An eye-opener. No longer in my own little world! *Delighted*
Toastmasters opened my eyes and taught me loads! If you want to learn and be awed by public speaking, come join a Toastmasters Club.

Sucky..... I can't stand it. OMG!
Had 6 hours of lab today and my legs are totally suaning away. I didn't have food or water from 9.30am to 3.30pm. And I hardly sat down for those 6 hours.
And after those 6 hours, we'll just come out stinking......
Arghhhhhhhhhh
Oh and guess what, I was supposed to do some yeast reduction experiment today, and for this experiment, we were supposed to set up one week before. AND THEY FREAKING GAVE US THE WRONG YEAST!
Ok, so nvm, then they ask us to do the next experiment which we are totally clueless about. Because no one will read their lab manual in advance! And the freaking next experiment had 10 million steps and it confused my mind 10 million times!
So duh, it would naturally take a longer time to finish. BUT if you leave the lab late, they will give you bad behaviour marks and that was exactly what happened to me!!!!!!
AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally hate lab now.....
All I wanna do now is sleep!
