Dad: Eh you know a Anne Marie is it? From CHIJ? SIM?
Me: yah i know a Anne Marie. *Thinks about the Anne Marie from T18 in CJC* Why?
Dad: I'm talking to her now leh. She's taking transport home from the office now.
Me: Huh? Really? She doing internship there is it? *Hears laughter from behind the phone*
Dad: You want to talk to her or not?
Me: Huh.... ok.
Anne Marie: *Sounding funny* Oh my God. Anne! Your Dad is damn punctual, I just came down a few minutes late and he dispatched all the vans already. *Continues talking*
I forgot a whole chunk of things that we said to each other.
Me: You're the Anne Marie from CJ right?
Anne Marie: Yah yah. We were from the same class. *Talks to my dad simultaneously**Talks on the phone simultaneously*

Anne Marie: You're 20 this year right?
Me: No I'm 21 this year.
Anne Marie: *talking to my dad* Uncle, wrong person..... *laughs* *Dad laughs in the background too* Uncle, she's 21 this year.
Me: What class were you from?
Anne Marie: T09.
Me: I'm from T18. Councillor. I'm from 05/06 batch.
Anne Marie: Oh councillor?? I'm one batch after you. There's a Anne in council too.
Me: Oh my junior batch ah?
Anne Marie: yah yah.
Me: Really? I don't remember any Annes in the junior batch.
Anne Marie: Oh is it? *continues saying: Uncle, wrong person.* *Continues laughing* Ok hold on ah.... *while passing phone to Dad* Uncle, wrong Anne.
Dad: *laughs, laughs, laughs*
Me: Haiyah you, wrong person lah.
Dad: Her description of you really like you leh. Wear specs.... *blah blah blah**continues talking till Bye*
Yes, this story is kinda confusing. In a nutshell, it's about this girl my dad met in his office, who thinks that the Anne she knows is me, and my dad thought that the Anne, Anne Marie knows is me as well, called me and realised that this is a real real coincidence and a mistake!
haha what an adventure at 12.28am on 24th Jan 09!

Throughout the movie, I realised that a lot of chinese phrases could be applied in this movie itself.
Firstly, 知己知彼百战百胜. Which roughly translates to: Know yourself, know your enemy, and every war will be a victory. Totally true in this Romance of the Three Kingdoms story.
Secondly, 英雄不过美人关. This roughly translates to: A hero can never resist a beautiful woman. 周瑜's (Zhou Yu) wife, a beauty, actually caused the defeat of 曹操(Cao Cao). A prime minister as smart as 曹操 could not resist the beauty and eventually lost to 周瑜.
Thirdly, 团结就是力量. Translation: Unity is strength. 周瑜's army had a very interesting formation when they went in to attack 曹操's army. Really amazing!
You guys should really go watch the movie. I learnt a lot from it and also gained more insight to our chinese culture. Plus, Takeshi Kaneshiro looks really handsome and cool!
Now I gotta go find 赤壁 1's DVD! =)

1. I've learnt that Singaporeans can really really really be super kiasu when it is extremely unnecessary. Today, they started the exchange of adult ez-link cards for new ones which has some functions which I am quite unsure of.
The queue at the MRT transitlink office was super super long at almost every of their office I'm sure. I was at Bukit Batok MRT station and I couldn't even see the end of the line.
Come on, the last day of exchange is in SEPTEMBER! Must Singaporeans really be so kiasu? My mum's friend queued for 2 hours.
2. I learnt how to use the shift key on the keyboard to select certain files, photos or documents.
3. I learnt that NTU's subject registration process is really really dumb. Can't stand it.
4. I learnt that CJC's open house is more for seniors than than for those sec 4s looking for a JC to enter.
Went back for CJ's open house today and the second thing Mrs Gail Leong said to me was that. The first thing she said: Where there's passion and fire, there's Anne Lim Hwee Hwee.
I still love CJC LOADS! (or as Julia would say it, "I still lub CJC dip dip!")
5. I learnt that there is really really such a thing as coincidence! And what a wrong coincidence it was!
6. I learnt more chem stuff and stuff for my other electives.
One week of school down. Many more weeks to go. JIAYOU!
